During four days, entrepreneurs and professionals will participate in different activities at BIEL Light + Building Buenos Aires 2025, the stage chosen by the industry to generate business and training. As in every edition, various conferences will be held by exhibiting companies, institutions and organizations related to the sector.
The program begins on Wednesday in the open auditorium. One of the highlights of the day will be "Inclusive and Smart Cities for Empowered Neighbors", where the Smart Cities specialist, Federico Salcedo, will provide an overview of inclusive cities in Argentina and the region, with their opportunities and challenges. In addition, at the conference "Revolutionizing the industry: Women who inspire, transform and empower", Mónica Caruso and Alejandra López, from Women Leaders in the Electricity Market, will speak.
On Thursday 26, CADIEEL will present the Guide for the Acquisition of LED Luminaires in Argentine Municipalities. The representatives of the Lighting Commission of the chamber, Gustavo Alonso Arias and Eduardo Yasan, will explain why it is necessary to have a framework of reference to develop investment in public lighting. That same day, the Chamber also organizes the conference "Technical Regulations - New regulatory approach for Electrical Safety", by Matías Bernocco, National Director of Technical Regulations; Christian García of the Directorate of Inspection, and Ignacio G. Boudjikanian, of the Ministry of Commerce.
The program continues on Friday with "The future of electricity distribution", by Claudio Bulacio, Manager of ADEERA; and "From consumer to protagonist: how to generate and manage your own energy", by Julio C. Durán, Consulting Researcher of the Department of Solar Energy of the CNEA.
Competence and training
During the four days of the biennial, the Week of the Electrician Installer will take place, organized by the Argentine Association of Residential, Industrial and Commercial Electrical Installers (AAIERIC), with a space designed to combine practical learning experiences with professional skills. In the "Electrical Technical Challenge – AEA 90364 Compliance and Training", through various interactive stations, participants will test their knowledge and skills through technical games, assembly exercises and verification tests.
Lighting, design and Argentine talent
Once again, the LumiAr space will offer a comprehensive vision of the creativity that characterizes Argentine entrepreneurs. Developed by 90+10, nine Argentine companies dedicated to lighting design will demonstrate all the national talent in a stand curated by Marcela Fibbiani. These brands will also share the differential of their products at the conference "Designing and manufacturing light in Argentina", on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
First-hand information
As in every edition, the Exhibitor Conferences will be high on the event's agenda with live lectures, presentations and product demonstrations. The talks will cover the most demanded trends in the sector: from home automation, automation and new technologies applied to luminaires and electrical installations, to the analysis of current regulations.
An edition with more business opportunities
This year the exhibition will be held simultaneously with ExpoFerretera 2025, this increases the offer of activities, talks and exhibitors to visit. In addition, both events will share the Demonstration Area: an outdoor space where companies will present their equipment and solutions, carry out live demonstrations of machinery and provide personalized advice.
