A few days before the start of a new edition of the biennial of the electrical, electronic and lighting industry, the event adds renewed proposals to promote training, professionalization, safety and the link with leading companies in the sector.
In this context, the Electrical Installer Week is presented, an initiative organized by AAIERIC (Argentine Association of Residential, Industrial and Commercial Electrical Installers), CADIEEL (Argentine Chamber of Electrical and Electronic Industries) and Messe Frankfurt Argentina.
The space will offer innovative, practical and dynamic training instances, aimed at experimenting with products, learning about their real applications and promoting their efficient use in the field.
One of the highlights will be the "Electrical Technical Challenge – AEA 90364 Compliance and Training", a competition that fuses practical training, regulatory updating and a playful spirit. Through different interactive stations, participants will test their knowledge and skills through technical games, assembly exercises and verification tests.
During the four days of exhibition, installers, technicians, advanced students from technical schools and the institutional public will participate in activities that simulate real work situations, using materials and tools provided by renowned companies in the sector.
The schedule includes:
- Virtual qualifying rounds, focused on theoretical evaluation.
- Face-to-face semifinals, with timed challenges of channeling, splicing, circuit identification, among others.
- Grand finale, which will include the complete assembly of an installation, real-time electrical measurements and a test of technical knowledge.
All activities will be carried out in accordance with the AEA 90364 standard and the technical provisions in force, under strict professional supervision. Finalists will receive recognition, awards and special mentions for their performance in safety, speed and theoretical mastery.
As part of the training program, on Friday, October 24, from 2 to 2:30 p.m., the talk "Cable selection: the invisible risk in electrical installations" will be given by David "El Pala" Palavecino, in the open auditorium of the exhibition.
The dissertation will address the construction characteristics of electrical cables and the importance of applying adequate calculation and installation criteria, in accordance with the parameters established by current regulations. The aim is to guarantee safe, functional and rational electrical installations.
